
Sydkustens landskapsförbund r.f. (Sydkusten) is an organisation owned by 16 municipalities in the southwest of Finland with Swedish as one of their official languages. The organisation supports its member municipalities in providing high quality services in Swedish in the fields of education and culture.
Sydkusten is engaged in advocacy for the Swedish-speaking population on key issues. Sydkusten works as a project organisation, building and sustaining networks in close cooperation with the municipalities and with other organisations to promote education and cultural activities in Swedish in Finland.
Sydkustens landskapsförbund r.f. was founded on 21 September 1998. Christel Björkstrand is the current director of the organisation.

The annual general assembly, which is held in April in one of the member municipalities, is the highest decision-making body of the organisation. Each municipality appoints delegates to the general assembly in accordance with its number of registered Swedish-speaking inhabitants. The meeting follows a statutory agenda with election of a president and board members.
